Can you repair bent or cracked wheels?

No, we don`t recommend straightening or welding wheels. It is always best to replace. It is easy to cover over a crack by welding but the wheel will still have a weak spot.

What is your average retail price for mobile wheel refurbishment?

Alloy Wheel Refurbishment:

1 to 2 wheels: £55.00 per wheel + VAT
3 to 4 wheels: £50.00 per wheel + VAT

Special Colours / Chrome paint

1 to 2 wheels: £60.00 per wheel + VAT
3 to 4 wheels: £55.00 per wheel + VAT

Diamond Cut (Smart Repair)

1 to 2 wheels: £75.00 per wheel + VAT
3 to 4 wheels: £65.00 per wheel + VAT

How long does it take?

On average a wheel takes 1 to 2 hours.
A full set would be 5 to 6 Hours.

Can I use the vehicle straight away afterwards?

Yes. Once the wheels are on the car, the vehicle is ready to go.

What is the repair process?

The wheels are repaired, reprimed, painted and lacquered, baked and refitted to your car.

Do you rebalance the wheels afterwards?

Your wheels will not need rebalancing as we do not remove the tyre completely, the tyre is pushed away from the rim so we can repair the kerb damaged. The tyre is inflated afterwards in the same position so as long as your wheels where balanced when we started then nothing we do will effect the wheel.

How do I know if my wheels are painted or polished (diamond cut)?

Machine polished wheels have very faint lines on the polished surface, similar to grooves in a record or CD. Painted silver alloy wheels usually have a fine metallic sparkle finish.

Can you refurbish diamond cut polished wheels to their original condition?

We provide a Smart repair to certain diamond cut wheels where we repair the damaged area and respray the polished areas with ‘diamond cut’ paint – which gives the appearance of a diamond cut finish. We do not use a cnc lathe to cut the wheels.
